Where's Jim Steinman when you need him?

Nothing I could do.
Total eclipse of the eclipse.

There's going to be an excellent eclipse of the moon tonight for North America. Not that I'll know it. We're scheduled for overcast skies and possible freezing rain tonight.

This is really disappointing to me. I've had a fascination with astronomy since I was a kid. The incredible distances, sizes, and times involved are at once frightening, humbling, and just plain exciting. The complex interrelationships of all these massive objects and materials is mind-blowing.

I love all of it.
